The use of absorbent glass mat technology (microfibre nonwoven web) means that the electrolyte is bound in and therefore the batteries are maintenance-free and leak proof.

Banner Stand by Bull Block GiV batteries are sealed, valve-controlled lead batteries with electrolyte that is bound into a nonwoven. They are employed for several hours in the high-voltage sector (UPS* systems) and for loads extending over long periods (safety lighting) although recently, the use of these batteries in the leisure and household areas has also increased. In addition to an excellent price-performance ratio, these batteries offer a reliable, maintenance-free power supply.

Banner Stand by Bull Bloc Gel batteries are sealed and valve-controlled and contain electrolyte in gel form. These block batteries are characterised by their robust, extremely versatile and maintenance-free design. Other advantages are their long service life, high cyclical resistance and compact casing dimensions. These batteries are employed primarily in the mobile radio sector, for power storage in renewable energy systems, in medical facilities and for safety lighting systems.
